International Research Visits
International collaboration has been a defining characteristic of Professor Declercq's academic career. Over more than two decades, he has undertaken numerous invited research visits, scientific exchanges, and visiting appointments at leading universities, research institutes, and laboratories throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.
These visits have supported the development of long-term international collaborations, facilitated the exchange of scientific ideas, contributed to joint research initiatives, and strengthened partnerships in engineering, physics, materials science, and ultrasonics. Many of these relationships have evolved into enduring collaborations involving joint publications, graduate student supervision, invited lectures, research funding, and institutional partnerships.
