Scientific Awards

1. INTERNATIONAL DENNIS GABOR AWARD 2006. The Award was handed by the President of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences E. Sylvester Vizi, Hungarian Parliament, Budapest, Hungary, Dec 21 2006. Dennis Gabor (1900-1979) was the inventor of Holography, for which he received the Nobel Prize in 1979.

5. 5th place in the contest for the "2004 J. L. Lions Award to Young Scientists in Computational Mathematics", ECCOMAS, The European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences, Jyväskylä, Finland, 2004
6. Rayisa P. Moiseyenko (Declercq"s PhD student) has received the first prize for her research "Diffraction in phononic crystals" (French: "Diffraction dans les cristaux phononiques") in the ADOC contest 2012 (June 14) (ADOC = L'association des jeunes chercheurs de l'Université de Franche-Comté, English : The Society for Young Researchers of the University of Franche-Comté)
